Little is known about Tedstone Delamere's holy well. It was marked as a spring on Ordnance Survay maps up until 1902, at which point it was named as "St Agne's Well", although a small square building was marked on all of them. It was first referred to as "St Agnes's Well" in 1904, and has, for the most part, been so named since. Unsurprisingly, the well's antiquity has been doubted based the complete lack of historical evidence that exists about it.

The building or structure that was marked on earlier Ordnance Survey maps has evidently been taken down, or at least altered. When I visited the site in the January of 2025, I was only able to view the well from the nearby road, but I could clearly see a large stone cross, identical to the sort that can be found in graveyards, at the head of the spring.

Access:

The spring is located on private property in the middle of a field, but it can be viewed over the hedge from the side of the nearby lane.
